Alliance recognised the opportunity to transform a former nursing home, which had stood empty for a number of years, and build a desirable new £3.4m residential development in South Manchester.

Owing to it being situated within the St. James Conservation Area of Didsbury Village, the Victorian façade of the original building had to be carefully preserved. Alliance skillfully embraced this challenge, expertly reconstructing and seamlessly blending the old-world charm with contemporary elegance of the new build. 

The new gated community of 14 apartments and 4 townhouses with spacious outdoor living areas and landscaped car parking, met local demand for high-end, characterful residences in this popular location and sold quickly, with 80% sold by completion.
