In collaboration with Aviva, Alliance identified the opportunity to invest in a luxurious hotel development situated in a prime city centre location, catering to the surging demand for hospitality in Manchester.

Alliance successfully obtained a brand-new 202-year ground lease from Manchester City Council and proceeded with the advancement of the project. A pre-let agreement was secured with the esteemed Dalata Hotel Group, for an impressive 17-storey, 329-key Clayton brand hotel, boasting a 4-star rating.

The scheme entailed the complete demolition of a 50-year-old office block. The design and build contract was awarded to Russell WBHO, and together, we navigated the project towards triumphant success.

The hotel has been hugely successful since opening and an excellent addition to Manchester's hotel and conference offer and created almost 90 jobs.
